Mike Garrasi of Music Man Entertainment was simply incredible, and that is an understatement. He made December 1, 2012 a night to remember. From our first phone call, I knew that he was going to be the perfect fit, and I was right. When we had to postpone our wedding in 2011, because my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, Mike was was more than flexible. He so very generously rolled over our deposit when we decided on our new date the following year. Not only was he flexible, but was so sincere in his concern for my mother’s health. He even called during the year “postponement” to check on her health!
With my mother cancer-free, we began to meet with vendors again and Mike was more than happy to come to our home and meet with Patrick, my mother, and I. He made her feel very confident that we would have the best wedding ever, although, I already knew that he would make it that way.
He guided us through our song choices, helping Patrick and I finally decide on “Someone Like You.” Together, we planned the bridal party’s entrance, which was quite a hit that night. He helped to organize my family’s flash mob surprise for us, and dedicated a polka to my late grandfather. When he announced my and Patrick’s name for the first time, it was incredible and a moment that I’ll cherish forever.
Mike kept the dance floor packed the entire night, and played a variety of music that kept everyone out there from start to finish. He was amazing and we cannot thank him enough for playing a part in giving us the best night of our lives.
